Never miss another Acoustic Harmony program! But do be aware that the site is not currently set for recording bi-weekly shows, so scheduling this recording will also pick up the alternating show on WGDR's Saturday afternoon schedule, I'm working with DAR.FM and hopefully this will be addressed soon. Feel free to contact the folks at DAR.FM and let them know you'd like to see an option added for recording bi-weekly shows like Acoustic Harmony!
NEW! Check out the recent interview with singer songwriter, Kyle Carey featuring music from her great new release, Monongah!
Acoustic Harmony is great folk music from the Green Mountains of Vermont. A radio program that airs alternating Saturdays on WGDR, a free-format community radio station broadcasting throughout central Vermont from the campus of Goddard College. Hosted by Mark Michaelis and on the air since 1990, Acoustic Harmony features the music of contemporary folk artists, singer songwriters, Americana musicians and more, focusing on mostly independent artists. Acoustic music is featured, but anything with beautiful harmonies and melodies may show up, after all...what's life without a few surprises thrown in !!! Listen live in the local area at 91.1 FM or online at: www.wgdr.org
New interviews have been added and are now available for your streaming pleasure! Check them out on the "inteview/playlist" page, where you'll find interviews with Lui Collins, Bernice Lewis, Meg Hutchinson, Rosemary Phelan, Tim Grimm, Patti Witten, David Lamotte, Johnsmith and Tom Pacheco.... all great singer songwriters! Archived interviews can also now be found on Acoustic Harmony's WGDR web page, my recent interview with Jessica Smucker is now posted there at:
