Welcome to Acoustic Harmony, home to the longtime radio Folk DJ Mark Michaelis!

Acoustic Harmony

Hosted and produced by Mark and on the air since 1990, Acoustic Harmony features the music of folk artists, acoustic singer songwriters and americana musicians.  Independent and local artists are a primary focus of the show which often features live guest appearances from local, regional and nationally touring artists.  The program airs live every Satuday from 4:30 - 7:30 PM on WGDR/WGDH, a free-format community radio station located on the campus of Goddard College.  In keeping with the mission of WGDR, Acoustic Harmony strives to give exposure and a voice to the many wonderfully talented artists that do not receive airplay on commercial radio stations.  Listen live in the local area at: 91.1 or 91.7 FM or stream online at: www.wgdr.org.

Crossroads

In 2016 Mark started hosting Crossroads on alternating Sundays.  This show is shared with with longtime co-host Todd Tyson (alternating), and is a long running eclectic folk and americana radio program heard live on Sunday mornings from 6 - 10 AM on WNCS/The Point.  One of the very few (possibly only) commercial radio stations in the country that devotes 4 hours of programming to folk music every week, WNCS is heard on multiple frequencies throughout Vermont and into New Hampshire and upstate New York as well as online at: pointfm.com.
